Why Are Pallet Trays Or Short HSC Bins Suitable For Products That Can Stack By Themselves?
Pallet Trays And Short HSC Bins Are Ideal When The Product Itself Provides Vertical Stacking Strength. In These Cases, The Corrugated Structure Is Not Required To Carry The Full Compression Load.
A Common Example Is Dog Food Bags Or Tightly Packed Consumer Goods That Naturally Interlock And Stack Securely. The Pallet Tray Forms The Base Layer And Helps Square Up The First Few Rows, Creating A Stable Footprint For Palletization.
How Much Weight Can A Quad-Wall Gaylord Box Hold?
The Weight Capacity Of A Quad-Wall Gaylord Box Depends Entirely On The Board Combination Used. An ECT 48BC Laminated To Another ECT 48BC Will Perform Very Differently Than An ECT 82 Board With Upgraded Mediums And Heavier Linerboard.
Some Builds May Be Suitable For 800 To 1,200 Lbs, While Engineered Configurations With Upgraded Mediums Can Exceed 1,500 Lbs Or More.
Are Custom Print Options Available On Large Corrugated Bulk Bins?
Yes, We Offer Custom Print Options On Large Corrugated Bulk Bins, Including Up To Four-Color Printing.
We Assist With Artwork Preparation, Design Adjustments, And Ordering Of Your Print Plates. Print Plates Are Typically A One-Time Investment As Long As The Box Dimensions Remain Unchanged. If The Size Of The Box Changes, New Plates Are Generally Required.
What Are The Types Of Board Upgrades Beyond Strength?
Board Upgrades Go Beyond Just Increasing ECT Or Compression Strength. Environmental Resistance Is Often Just As Important For Large Corrugated Bulk Bins.
Available Upgrades Include:
– Water-Resistant Adhesive (WRA) That Improves Performance In Refrigerated Environments
– Moisture-Resistant Linerboard Treatments
– Surface Coatings Designed To Resist Short-Term Rain Or Splash Exposure
Are Inserts, Dividers, And Partitions Also Available?
Yes, Inserts, Dividers, And Partitions Are Available And Are Often Critical Components Of Large Corrugated Packaging Systems.
Custom Partitions And Dividers Can Be Engineered To Match Your Exact Box Dimensions, Allowing For Optimized Logistics Performance And Reduced Damage-Related Costs Throughout The Supply Chain.
